From Detroit, MI, Dr. Mooreland completed her Bachelors of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University before going on to receive her medical doctorate from The Ohio State University. Dr. Mooreland completed her residency training at Grant Family Practice in Columbus, Ohio, with a concentration in women’s health and obstetrics. In addition to growing her medical practice, she previously served as faculty in Family Medicine Obstetrics with Grant Family Practice, and was honored in 2022 as a “40 under 40 Leader in Health” by the National Minority Quality Forum for her creative and comprehensive approach to health equity.
Dr. Mooreland is a loving wife and mother of 5 boys. She enjoys singing praise and worship, High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), date nights with her husband, and playing basketball, when she is off the clock. Dr. Mooreland lives by the scripture Luke 12:48, “to whom much is given, much is required.”
