Sonitrol Pacific Detection of “Faint Voices” Leads to Arrests

Three suspects were arrested at a Washington school after an expert Sonitrol Pacific audio analyst received activations from the school's system.

Tacoma, WA, July 31, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Police arrested three suspects at a Washington high school after a Sonitrol Pacific expert sound analyst detected their activity July 27.

The operator received an impact-activated audio signal from the school’s system and called the district’s guard service. While guards were en route, the operator listened to real-time audio and heard faint voices followed by another signal activation.

The guards arrived at the school and promptly located and detained two suspects. Police arrived soon after with a K9 unit that chased down a third suspect. All three were taken into custody.

Officers believe the three suspects broke a window in order to get inside the school.
