Better Business, Better World Conference Announces Complete Speaker Lineup for December Gathering in Orlando
Twenty-eight presenters from science, business, healthcare, agriculture, and the space industry will address how commerce can build a better and more positive future.
Orlando, FL, October 03, 2026 --(PR.com)-- Better Business, Better World (BBBW) today announced its complete speaker lineup for the 2026 conference, taking place December 18-20, 2026 at the Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld in Orlando, Florida.
The three-day conference will bring together twenty-eight presenters - economists, scientists, physicians, farmers, educators, and executives - around a single question: what does it look like when business becomes a force for building a better world? Speakers will address the conference's Four Pillars: Commerce, Science, Spirit, and Connection.
Why these speakers, and why now
"The through-line of this year's program is simple," the conference organizers said in announcing the lineup. "Every speaker on this stage has taken an idea about how the world ought to work - fairer markets, cleaner energy, healthier communities, more meaningful work - and built something real with it. Attendees are not coming to hear opinions. They are coming to hear what worked, what did not, and what to do next."
The program pairs headline economic analysis with practical, ground-level sessions. Dr. Isabel Sawhill, Senior Fellow Emeritus at the Brookings Institution, will open the conference's examination of the economic system itself with "Capitalism and the American Dream." Energy and resource security get a full-track treatment from Dr. Ghasem Bayat ("World Energy Supply & Demand - Past and Future"), Dr. Mark Pearson ("The Future of Energy Security"), and Dr. Arta Sadrzadeh, who will present on the role of seismic technology in mineral exploration. Mr. Jeffrey Barnes brings "The Science and Technology of Manned Space Flight" to the Science pillar.
Healthcare is examined from two directions: Dr. Vafa Bayat on "The Miracle of Modern Medicine," Dr. Kosti Psimopoulos on healthcare, ethics, and development, and Dr. Wellman on the provocative case that a market-based model has never actually been tried in US healthcare.
On the Commerce and enterprise side, Mr. Adam Torres, host of the Mission Matters Business Podcast, will speak on why business ecosystems matter; Mr. Wade Fransson presents real-world examples of corporate business strategy; Mr. Brian Adamson traces the journey from corporate contributor to business owner; and Mr. Tom Hampton reframes personal and professional life as a balance sheet in "Your Life is a Balance Sheet - Focusing on the Bottom Line."
A distinctive feature of this year's conference is the depth of its purpose-driven and human-development programming: Dr. Alise Cortez on expressing your purpose through business; Mr. Christopher Kai on story-based leadership; Dr. Soheila Azizi on women and development; Ms. Alexandra Nuñez on poverty and economic empowerment; Mr. Nathan Turner on financial empowerment from income to ownership; Mr. Alex Habib Riazati on the impacts of Third Wave Psychology on creating a service-based economy; Mr. Bruce Koerber on Divine Economy Theory; and Dr. Fred Jafari on education as a cornerstone of sustainable social and economic development.
Food, land, and community systems are equally well represented. Mrs. Mollie Engelhart presents "Farming for the Future," and Mr. Paul Hanley takes on one of the most important questions in sustainable agriculture: can regenerative agriculture feed the world, solve poverty, and address climate change at the same time? Mr. Ron Smith will present a model for collaborative non-profit enterprise, and Dr. Bob Atkinson will share "The Way of Unity: Building a Worldwide Enterprise for Flourishing Communities and Planetary Well-Being."
In a featured joint session, Dr. Najeeba Syeed and Ms. Michon True Smith will present "Religious Pluralism and Conflict Resolution in the Workplace" - an increasingly essential skillset for leaders managing diverse teams. Mr. Mike Rochelle will speak on the modern people-leadership challenge in "People Lead, Companioned by AI." International perspectives come from Mr. Andy Semotiuk (International/Canada), whose recommended plenary session addresses leading a life of achievement through control of money, time, and talent.
