Travis Payne Directs and Choreographs Corbin Bleu’s National Music Tour

New York, NY, August 02, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Choreographer to the stars, Travis Payne, has directed the best of them- Usher, Janet, Madonna, and Beyoncé to name a few. Payne’s latest project is with the High School Musical sensation and global teen icon, Corbin Bleu, for his national music tour supporting his past solo album, Another Side, as well as to promote his upcoming 2008 release. Travis Payne was asked to join as choreographer and director of the tour to help develop a more mature image for the 19 year-old Bleu to support his new music. The feel of the show, like Corbin’s music, appeals to a more mature crowd without alienating his younger fan base. Travis has created a stage performance that showcases Corbin’s artistic abilities as an actor, musician and dancer through choreographed works with his female background dancers, comedic skits, and a multitude of varied dancing such as break, tap, and hip hop. On working with the young sensation, Payne quotes Corbin is “amazing and inspiring. He is full of ideas and full of energy.” These impressive qualities lead Travis to be able push Bleu to a higher level as a musical icon and quote “rivals many current male pop stars”. Travis looks forward to working with Corbin Bleu on future projects as he is helping to create the next music sensation.

Not a stranger to working with the dynamic stars of Disney, Payne has previously choreographed for the TV Show The Suite Life of Zach and Cody’ and was bestowed with an Emmy Nominee for this work. Payne also just wrapped up a Sears campaign with another High School Musical star, Vanessa Hudgens.

The tour commences July 23rd, 2008 in Stillwater, MN and will run through mid-September so check out a show that’s sure to impress with the musical talent of Corbin Bleu and choreography and direction by Travis Payne. Travis will be joining the tour for its first few performances and will be back mid-tour for some more dates.
