UK Gets New Showcase for Local Bloggers

Website Localmouth has just launched a new series showcasing talented local bloggers from around the UK.

London, United Kingdom, August 03, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Blogs about specific local areas are becoming increasingly popular in the UK, with new blogs launching every day. In a new series, website Localmouth.com is highlighting the best of these local blogs and looking at what makes a local blog successful.

The first two articles in the series feature interviews with Ruby in Bury, a blogger from Bury St. Edmunds who blogs about family life and her local area from a very personal perspective, and Anke who offers up eye-catching photos of Tunbridge Wells and fascinating tidbits of local history. Both have strong local followings.

"The best local blogs are becoming valuable forums for local discussion," explained Localmouth founder Matt Collins. "We want to find out what makes them tick."

Localmouth was launched in May 2007 and is an online guide to local communities in the UK. The site aggregates hyperlocal information and provides forums where people can share advice and discuss local matters.
