Quick Response Leads to Arrest

Tacoma, WA, August 03, 2008 --(PR.com)-- The quick response by a Sonitrol Pacific operator, a school district’s guard service and the local police department led to one arrest and thwarted the attempted burglary of a Washington high school July 31.

The Sonitrol Pacific operator received a signal activation from the school and she immediately called the school’s guard service to check it out.

The security guards rushed to the facility and interrupted one individual in the process of burglarizing the school. They detained the suspect and police arrived soon after to take him into custody.

July has been an active month for apprehension incidents at Sonitrol Pacific. The electronic security company as assisted law enforcement officials in the apprehension of more than 25 suspects during the month.
