Cottonwood, AZ, May 18, 2006 --(PR.com)-- An amber alert has been issued for a three-year-old Cottonwood girl who was taken from her foster home.

Yavapai County Sheriff's Department officials say a teenage suspect took Skyland Childress out a window and ran from the scene on foot about 3:00 p.m.

Police say this is a possible custodial interference case and they are searching for 17-year-old Cory Sgarlata, who is the son of the girl's foster mother.

They say the girl is not believed to be in imminent danger but want to find her.
