Roatan, Honduras, October 27, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Roatan.ws, a leading web site for Roatan Island in Honduras, published the “Photo of the Week” about the Guaruma village in the Cangrejal River valley on the mainland of Honduras. The picture shows the fantasy depiction of wildlife as seen through the eyes of children who live there. The steep mountains of the National Park with the winding Cangrejal River is the background for these fantasy animals. The kids from the village painted this mural with the help of a local artist working with the Gauruma program. The building is the Guaruma Community Center. “Guaruma” is a Honduras based non-profit organization that promotes environmental awareness and conservation in the Cangrejal river area on the Eastern edge of Pico Bonito National Park.
