TV4U Begins IPTV Fed Nostalgia Television Network on Cable Systems and Broadcast Digital Subcarriers
TV4U LLC, currently operating TV4U.Com, a 42 Channel Free Internet Classic TV Network, has reestablished the historic Nostalgia Television Network as NTVTele.Net, targeting baby boomers with classic TV shows, classic movies, and classic sports.
Henderson, NV, November 12, 2008 --(PR.com)-- TV4U LLC, a Henderson, Nevada based IPTV media company that operates the TV4U.Com free internet classic TV network, has established NTVTele.Net as an IPTV fed cable TV network. The Nostalgia Television Network will draw from its 20,000 title video library to program classic TV shows, movies, and sports on a 24/7 streaming basis. The network will target baby boomers and is available free via barter to cable TV systems and broadcast station digital subcarriers.
The Nostalgia Television Network will mainly utilize the TV4U operated TVS Television Network library. TVS was established in 1961 and has syndicated thousands of TV shows for national television including the NCAA Basketball Tournament, every major NCAA basketball conference, the World Football League, ATP Tennis, Frank Sinatra:The Main Event, LPBT Bowling, Portraits of Power, and AIAW Sports Championships. It is utilizing this sports and entertainment library as well as the TV4U library to create a unique channel for baby boomers.
Nostalgia TV Network shows appearing on NTVTele.Net include episodes of Green Acres, Doris Day Show, Mothers in Law, Combat, Mannix, The Green Hornet, Conan The Adventurer, Sea Hunt, Peter Gunn, Checkmate, and Bonanza.
Classic movies come from the TV4U 5,000 title library and include a century of movies in all genres, including Sword and Sandal, Kung Fu, Action, Westerns, Spaghetti Westerns, Musicals, Film Noir, and Classics.
Nosalgia TV Sports inludes 60 years of top Classic Sports events, many of which helped to launch the Classic Sports Network in the 1990's prior to its acquisition by ESPN.
New programming of classic shows, such as All Star Bowling, Celebrity Bowling, Make That Spare, Jackpot Bowling, LPBT Bowling, Championship Darts, Championship Arm Wrestling, Rock and Roll Reunion, PM Magazine, Holiday on Ice, the Blue Gray Game, and American Journal are all being produced by TV4U utilizing the revolutionary New Tek Tricaster Studio in HD.
