Skelta Software Unveils Forms Designer Capabilities of Its Soon to be Launched BPM.NET 2009

Skelta’s native Forms Designer scheduled to be launched along with its upcoming 2009 product version, is a powerful tool that enables forms creation on the web, the new Skelta Forms designer has no equal.

Waltham, MA, November 14, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Customized Forms are integral to processes and often initiate organizational workflows. However, the serious BPM user has always felt the lack of a user friendly forms designer for rapidly building GUIs and associating created forms with processes.

Skelta’s native Forms Designer to be launched along with its upcoming 2009 product version, is a powerful tool that addresses this very need. As a native design tool that enables forms creation on the web, the new Skelta Forms designer has no equal. The application includes in-depth capabilities that allow Rapid Business Application Development. Skelta’s Forms Designer is a completely web based GUI tool for easy forms creation associated with processes & workflow and enables developers and business users to design simple to complex forms on the web for implementing applications.

Built into Skelta BPM.NET 2009, Skelta Forms eliminates the pain of interfacing with third party Forms Designers and ensures easy association with process & workflows; with the unique ability to also be called from within processes.

It comes with a variety of design experience so that a typical IT pro can rapidly create meaningful business forms without getting into unnecessary configuration and technicalities. It provides an AJAX-based WYSIWYG editor allowing creation of rich business forms and publishing them for immediate availability.

The Forms also include a simple scripting interface which allows powerful excel kind of expressions in familiar C#/JavaScript syntax to be used for values of various properties of Forms and it’s content. Thus providing dynamism and auto recalculation to the Forms based on interdependent form elements.

With this feature, users will now be able to quickly design and maintain form templates, define a form’s business logic, make changes, and preview forms, all within the BPM environment.

Speaking about the new feature from Skelta BPM.NET 2009, Arvind Agarwal, Skelta CTO said “With the Forms Designer, we have further eliminated dependency on third party applications and made our BPM product a more holistic enterprise solution. While we continue to enhance our integration with Microsoft’s InfoPath, our users have asked for a more integrated forms environment right within the BPM environment for Process specific scenarios. Users can now build rich business applications using both InfoPath and Skelta forms combined together.

Skelta’s Forms Designer will shortly be available as a licensed pack with Skelta BPM.NET 2009.

About Skelta Forms Designer.

Skelta Forms Designer is a complete and feature rich application designed to drive enterprise level application development. Ajax based designer with rich controls provide an advanced level forms designing option. Further each control has an associated property sheet to configure its presentation and behavior with the form. The created forms are then attached to the relevant steps in the process. The data mapping between the form fields and process attributes can easily be associated in the control property sheets. The end users interact with this screen while performing the tasks, and data entered into these forms are passed back to and from the process seamlessly. The Forms Designer also provides tools to apply validation rules or formulas, in the form. Validation rules eliminate data entry errors when users type values into the form. It also provides users with useful tool tips to guide them, when they fill the forms. For more on Skelta Forms Designer feature, please visit www.skelta.com.
