Mystery Author Gets Cozy with the Paranormal

Author Elizabeth Eagan-Cox is taking the concept of the cozy G-Rated mystery novel into the Paranormal community. And the Paranormal community has responded favorably.

Inland Empire, CA, January 23, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Citing the up-coming schedule of personal appearance interviews that Eagan-Cox has lined up with well-known Paranormal media, Cox says that approaching the paranormal community is a logical step in promoting her Shannon Delaney paranormal mystery novels series. She explains, “The ghosts in my mystery novel series are treated as characters that are pivotal to the plot and series development. In no way do I write them as mere novelties. The Paranormal community is open to my concept, that a cozy G-Rated mystery can be mainstream and at once include personalities in the story-line that are ghosts… real ghosts, who were people once alive and now have found a purpose in their spectral existence.”

The series is based on a young woman named Shannon Delaney, a publicity writer who has the knack of picking freelance assignments that lead her into portals of discovery of her own emerging ability to ‘speak to the past,’ as she delves into murder, mayhem and unsolved mysteries involving cold-case files influenced by California’s fascinating history.

The author, well-known as a California history writer, uses elements of real history to bring the mystery and personalities to life. Citing studies in Victorian parlor magic, California’s founding Hispanic culture and her own Celtic ancestry, Eagan-Cox laces fact with fiction to create a cozy series that reveals layer-upon-layer elements of intrigue, mystery and history.

The series has caught the attention of Internet Web radio program hosts as evidenced in Eagan-Cox’ past appearances on radio programs and with up-coming ones, including:
