The global semiconductor market is anticipated to grow at a CAGR of around 7% through 2012, despite a projected decline in 2009, says new RNCOS report.

Contrary to this, countries like India and China continue to drive the demand for semiconductors as potentially high domestic demand will stem from these countries. However, there will be comparatively less growth as had been expected before the crisis began.
