Burbank, CA, March 07, 2009 --(
PR.com)-- Film composer, Kurt Oldman recently completed the score to “The Last Laugh,” a film about unthinkable sacrifice as described in Genesis 22:2. Starring Victoria Jackson of Saturday Night Live fame “The Last Laugh” is part of this year’s 168 Film Festival.
Kurt is no stranger to the time constraints of this festival. He scored the 2007 entrant, “I Think I’m Alone Now,” which garnered 5 nominations. With only one week to shoot, edit, score and mix the film, standard production times are considerably compressed.
“The Last Laugh” reunites Kurt with Director, Eric Tozzi. They collaborated on the highly acclaimed webseries, “Dirty Bomb Diaries”. Kurt is thrilled to be working with Eric again: "It takes time to develop a communication with the director. Usually the first project is spent getting to know each other and learning each other's styles. On the second project it's easier to jump straight in."
Kurt is presently scoring for the TLC show, “Say Yes To The Dress”. For more information about Kurt Oldman visit his website at www.kurtoldman.com and is managed by Little Pie Artists, www.littlepieartists.com, (818) 840 9395.
