Pets of Wilshire Hosts First Annual Parrot Festival

Santa Monica, CA, April 14, 2009 --(PR.com)-- On April 18 & 19, 2009 Pets of Wilshire will host a fun-filled family event focusing on the wonderful world of birds. The whole weekend will be filled with activities such as parrot flight demonstrations, parrot training and many opportunities to learn about these wonderful animals. Face painting and henna tattoos will be available for children and adults. Children can participate in a coloring contest and other fun games and activities.

Parrots First will bring some of their parrots available for adoption and the West Los Angeles Bird Club will be on hand to drum up membership for their organization.
