IBA Consultants Secures Contract to Provide Services for The New Joe Dimaggio Children’s Hospital

Boca Raton, FL, April 19, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, a world-class pediatric center in Hollywood, Fla., has selected IBA Consultants to provide its building envelope services during the construction phase of its new four-story children’s hospital.

Noted for its work with renowned hospitals such as Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami; Wesley Medical Center, Wichita; and the Ocala (Fla.) Regional Medical Center, IBA will provide services relating to the project’s glass and glazing, exterior wall, waterproofing, and roofing systems. A partial list includes shop drawing/submittal review, periodic site inspection and onsite testing.

The new four-story Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital is expected to open in late 2011. It will be connected to the existing children’s hospital facilities and Memorial Regional Hospital via an elevated walkway. Upon completion of these projects, the hospital will have 204 licensed beds.
