db5 Dynamics AB Releases Automatic Tools for Advanced Process Modelling and Optimization

db5 Dynamics AB proudly announces that its flagship product db Collection is available for a full commercial release. db Collection is the first program to offer fully automated, nonlinear black box model generation, with an integrated work flow for modelling, analysis, simulation, and optimization.

Norrkoping, Sweden, April 24, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Traditional numeric model building requires detailed knowledge of every part of the system and is very time consuming. Black box modelling is a fast and efficient alternative, provided that signal data is available. Existing black box software, however, is mostly of the simpler linear type or requires advanced mathematical skills to handle.

”With db Collection advanced models for paper, power, and process industry can be created with only a few mouse clicks. Thanks to advanced signal processing and artificial intelligence we can let the computer do the job instead of the user.”, says Peter Jaksch, managing director of db5 Dynamics AB. db Collection has a simple interface with data import / export to MS Excel, but can easily be integrated with existing real-time data collection systems.

Possible applications include:
- System analysis – trace quality variations etc.
- Training – test scenarios on a simulated system.
- Process monitoring – detect early signs of component degradation or failure.
- Process optimization – how to control the inputs of a process in an optimal way.
