This Ministry Would Not Exist Without Them

L.I.F.E. Ministries’ facilitators conduct sexual addiction recovery support groups in churches across the country and abroad. “Without our support group facilitators, this ministry would not exist,” exclaims Johna Hale, Executive Director. Answering the call from group starters and group facilitators, L.I.F.E. Ministries has released a DVD resource on starting, running, and building a sexual integrity ministry.

Orlando, FL, April 24, 2009 --(PR.com)-- L.I.F.E. Ministries, a sexual integrity ministry, expands across the United States through group facilitators that explain the importance of such a ministry to their local churches. Headquartered in Orlando, Florida, this ministry operates on less than one hundred thousand dollars annually from mostly home-based offices in Virginia, central and southern Florida, Tennessee, and Louisiana.

“Without our support group facilitators, this ministry would not exist!” exclaims Johna Hale, Executive Director. These individuals approached leaders in their church with a difficult problem and presented the L.I.F.E. program as a solution. From there, they organized a weekly meeting, got the word out about the program, and dedicated countless hours to running and operating their groups.

Over the years, L.I.F.E. has released several resources for facilitators. In 2003, the Facilitator’s Guide for Men and Women’s groups was released. Since then, the L.I.F.E. Leadership Team and volunteers have opened themselves via email for questions from facilitators. And, in 2008, monthly Facilitator Training Calls emerged to educate sexual addiction recovery support group facilitators on a monthly basis in a live telephone call setting.

L.I.F.E. is preparing to release two educational DVDs for support group facilitators and those wanting to establish a group at their church. Debbie W., Director of Spouse’s Ministry, comments on the upcoming DVD for spouses groups, “This information will give you the skills to successfully work with spouses on their recovery path.”

Also this year, a Facilitator’s Guide for Spouses’ groups will be released. And the new L.I.F.E. Alliance advanced training program will be introduced. These initiatives will further equip, encourage, and empower support group facilitators on the front lines in the battle against sexual addiction.

L.I.F.E. Ministries, an inter-denominational ministry, is a biblically-based, Christ-centered sexual addiction support group ministry. While the ministry’s Leadership Team is active and growing, the true driving force of this ministry is sexual addiction support group facilitators based in churches across the country. Several resources exist to continuously educate these facilitators with more on the way.
