Cenk Chiropractic, headquartered in Fox Chapel, has named new Clinic Directors for its offices in Harmarville and Gibsonia and added an additional associate to its Fox Chapel office.

Dr. Ryan D. Kauffman has been named Clinic Director of Cenk’s Harmarville office, located in the Alexander’s Athletic Club building. Dr. Kauffman received his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic West in San Jose, California. He has done advanced sports study and one of only a handful to hold the title of Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP). Since 2001, he has also been certified in A.R.T. (Active Release Technique) for the spine, as well as the upper and lower extremities, and is again one of a limited number of chiropractors in the area to hold this certification. Dr. Kauffman has not only had success with local professional and amateur athletes, but also has treated world-class athletes at the 2003 Iron Man World Championships in Kona.

Dr. Thomas Brinzer was named Clinic Director in Gibsonia. Born and raised in the greater Pittsburgh area, Dr. Brinzer graduated magna cum laude from Palmer College of Chiropractic in early 2007, having previously attained a B.A. in chemistry from Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, PA in 2003. Dr. Brinzer particularly enjoys working with athletes, but also has extensive experience at treating intervertebral disc injuries and pinched nerves in the neck and low back.

Dr. Katherine Eckert has joined Cenk Chiropractic’s main office in Fox Chapel as an associate doctor. Dr. Eckert received a Bachelors in Health Science from Gannon University and graduated from New York Chiropractic College in 2007. Like Dr. Kauffman, Dr. Eckert is also one of only a handful of doctors certified in A.R.T. (Active Release Technique) for the spine, upper, and lower extremities.

Company President Dr. Donald Cenk said, “These significant additions to our company further solidify Cenk Chiropractic’s position as a leading healthcare provider for western Pennsylvania.”

Cenk Chiropractic specializes in treating the source, not just the symptoms, of many common conditions. All locations offer state-of-the-art equipment, treatment protocols, and nutritional supplements designed to improve the quality of patients’ lives.
