Zambezi Safaris Launch African Fishing Expeditions This Season

Africa's Zambezi River offers excellent fly-fishing opportunities year round. The upper Zambezi is best from June to August and the lower Zambezi is especially good for tiger fish from August to November. Zambezi Safaris are running two specific fishing trips this year - the "Upper and Lower Zambezi Expedition" and the "Zambezi Valley River and Lake Safari."

The region offers good fishing throughout the season. June to August is the most rewarding time for fishing on the Upper Zambezi. August to November is the best time to catch Tiger Fish on the Lower Zambezi. Tiger fish, Yellow Belly Bream, Three Spot Bream, Red Breasted Bream, Nile Bream, Kafue Pike, the giant Vundu catfish, Chessa, Nkupi, Bottlenose and the Cornish Jack are some of the species to look out for.
