Mallory Alexander International Logistics Recognized as Top 100 3PL by Leading Industry Publication Inbound Logistics

From a group of more than 500 initial candidates, Mallory Alexander International Logistics has been recognized as a 2006 Top 100 3PL (Third Party Logistics company) by Inbound Logistics magazine.

Memphis, TN, September 08, 2006 --(PR.com)-- From a group of more than 500 initial candidates, Mallory Alexander International Logistics has been recognized as a 2006 Top 100 3PL (Third Party Logistics company) by Inbound Logistics magazine. The selection was the result of a comprehensive process of evaluating questionnaires, research and reader feedback.

“This recognition of Mallory Alexander is particularly rewarding because it is based largely on the experience and opinions of major shippers who are our customers,” says Tinamarie Sauter, chief operating officer. Sauter was also recently recognized as one of 18 leading women in transportation by another key publication, the Journal of Commerce.

“While we have been growing rapidly in the past few years, this independent recognition of Mallory Alexander as a Top 100 3PL is strong evidence that we are succeeding in maintaining our excellent reputation with customers,” Sauter says. “We have a global reach now, but we have never forgotten the commitment to service that we started within Memphis-still our home town-more than 80 years ago.”

According to Inbound Logistics editor, Felicia Stratton, “One key driver for our selection process was how a logistics partner enables innovation and/or growth for its customers. It is easier for a 3PL to benchmark direct savings for customers as a result of optimizing a transport network, or reducing an inventory-to-sales ratio. But it is just as important-in some cases, more important-for a logistics partner to act as a business change agent, driving their customers' ability to grow, innovate, and compete. That is what Mallory Alexander International Logistics does, and why we are happy to recognize it as a 2006 Top 100 3PL.”
