Chicago, IL, August 21, 2009 --(PR.com)-- There are all kinds of fun activities for children and their families as the summer vacation comes to an end. None will be as exciting or as informative as the end of summer back to school event being offered this Saturday morning, August 22, 2009, at First American Bank on Elston Avenue in Chicago by Dr. Cynthia Seaman.

The bank management is co-sponsor with prominent Chicago Chiropractor Cynthia Seaman of Seaman Chiropractic Center for a morning of fun for the community’s families and children.

Dr. Seaman will be offering, at no charge, pre-screenings for scoliosis along with a host of other interesting Saturday morning activities.

The chiropractic scoliosis screenings will be followed by an explanation to the accompanying parent or guardian of the child of Dr. Cynthia's findings.

Scoliosis is a twisting of the spine from its natural curvature. This twisting develops when children are growing. It often is evident in the child during formative years as an excessive number of colds, headaches, other aches and pains. If left unchecked the condition will persist into adulthood. Experts say it is responsible for myriad health problems which begin with the adverse effect the spinal twisting has on the nervous system’s ability to communicate with the organs of the body. Scoliosis is sometimes seen in adults as early, faster aging joints.

A continental breakfast will be served. Free temporary tattoos, along with a crafts table for the children and much, much more will be available at this community friendly event.
