Malibu, CA, September 14, 2009 --(PR.com)-- MobileCause has acquired Iugo.me LLC, a technology company serving non-profits that deploys innovative mobile giving solutions for cell phones, smartphones, and other mobile platforms including the iPhone, Blackberry, and Palm Pre. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Iugo.me is an innovator in mobile giving solutions and was first to market with an iPhone mobile giving application.

MobileCause is the leader in providing Web-based services to non-profits nationwide for launching and managing mobile payment donations, messaging, and text-to-screen. Its Web-based tools are recognized as leading edge in this emerging market and are preferred by many recognized non-profits.

“Iugo.me has a technology platform that expands MobileCause’s messaging platform to include an even richer, more interactive user experience,” said Daniel Scalisi, President of MobileCause. When partnered with MobileCause’s Web administered mobile technology and micro-donation mobile payment system, it delivers an exciting, best-of-class cause marketing vehicle to reach and retain a new demographic of advocates. “Iugo.me has done a tremendous job attracting nationally recognized customers and delivering applications that not only engage but introduce an entirely new way to drive donor success and engagement,” said Douglas Plank, CEO of MobileCause. “Combining these tools with effective calls-to-action is transforming the entire fund raising industry.”

“Mobile devices, especially smart phones, are where so much of our interaction is going; by 2012 they will outnumber computers 3-to-1” said Adolph Santorine, President of Iugo.me. “We help non-profits connect with their supporters in a very immediate and personal level. Unlike other fund raising messages and cause marketing efforts, our applications remain on the user’s smart phone, giving the cause the additional exposure that is so critical to a successful fund raising campaign.”

MobileCause will begin immediately integrating and marketing the mobile giving application platform. Adolph Santorine will join the management team at MobileCause, and Iugo.me’s business development and technical teams will also become part of MobileCause.
