This Holiday Season Shop with Passports with Purpose and Help Build a School in Cambodia

Make a Difference and Win Great Prizes

Seattle, WA, December 03, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Passports with Purpose (PwP), a collaborative online fundraiser, this year has a goal of raising USD13,000 to build a school in Cambodia. Starting November 30, the public can purchase raffle tickets to the prizes on the Passports with Purpose website (www.passportswithpurpose.com/donate.html), specifying the amount of the donation (in $10 increments). Prizes include travel gear, getaways, hotel stays and more. The donations are made through PayPal, where donors can use a credit card and are not required to have a PayPal account. Donations are received directly by the America Assistance for Cambodia (AAfC). The online fundraiser ends on December 21, 2009 and prize winners will be announced on January 5, 2009.

There over 50 travel bloggers from around the world who have agreed to participate by securing a prize for the PwP fundraiser and who are encouraging their community of readers to buy one or more raffle tickets. Prizes include:
Five night-stay for a family of four at The Los Sueños Marina and Resort in Herradura, Costa Rica. Includes accommodations in a two-bedroom condominium (Colina, Del Mar or Veranda) and one Adventure Tour for four people. Valid for 1 year (starting November 15th 2009). They invite people to help raise the funds by spreading the word about Passports with Purpose among their networks, readers and social media contacts.

AAfC is an independent nonprofit organization dedicated to improving opportunities for the youth and rural poor in Cambodia. One hundred percent of the proceeds from donated prizes and raffle ticket entries will be used towards AAfC’s rural schools project.
