New Series About Bible Women

A new series called "Bible Women: Ruth," written by Bette Yates, has been published on the website, Daily Christian Journal.

Bethalto, IL, February 28, 2010 --(PR.com)-- A new series about Bible women has been released on Daily Christian Journal, a website owned and written by Bette Yates. The series began with a series of articles about Ruth, an ancestor of Jesus Christ. The original story is recorded in the Book of Ruth in the Bible.

Yates says her goal is to study Bible women and incorporate their wisdom and character in a Bible lesson that will encourage transformation of the reader to a better Christian walk.

“I try to apply Scripture to an experience I have had or a difficulty I am going through at the time,” she says. “I have learned from reading the lives of Bible women that they have had the same problems and faults as the rest of us. They were vulnerable to temptation, suffered pain and loss, yet had courage and fortitude. Some of them were guided by a guardian angel.”

Yates took correspondence courses in writing with Christian Writers School, Wheaton, IL; and with Famous Writers School, Westport, Conn. She has had numerous articles and devotionals published in devotional magazines and article directories as well as in her website, Daily Christian Journal.

Yates says that future articles of Bible women will include the lives of Esther, Sarah, Mary, Rebekah, and Rachel.
