Brand Tango Wins 13 Local Addy Awards Now Eligible for Regional Recognition

Brand Tango, a South Florida-based marketing, design and technology firm, has won 13 Addys in local competitions. The firm is now poised to win a national Gold Award, as it did in 2009.

Ft. Lauderdale, FL, March 26, 2010 --(PR.com)-- For Brand Tango, a Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.-based marketing, technology and design firm, 2010 is off to a promising start. After winning a national Gold Addy award from the American Advertising Federation in 2009, Brand Tango won 13 Addy Awards in last weekend’s Ft. Lauderdale and Miami local competitions, the first step toward national honors.

At the Ft. Lauderdale show, work by Brand Tango vice president and creative director James Kluetz took home Best in Print and Best in Show honors in addition to six Gold and four Silver Addys. Kluetz entered one project in the Miami competition and won a Gold Addy for that entry.

Both competitions qualify the firm to move forward toward a national Addy from the American Advertising Federation. With more than 50,000 entries annually, the ADDY Awards are the world’s largest advertising competition and arguably one of the toughest, with three tiers of competition.

“It’s a thrill to see our work recognized by our peers,” says Joe Russoniello, Brand Tango’s president and co-founder, “especially because this is an awards program administered by the advertising industry for the industry.”

Among Brand Tango clients whose projects were honored was Hacienda Tres Rios Resort, whose new member point of sale kit won Best in Print. Other clients with winning projects are Premier Cancun Vacations, Neoptx, Floridays Vacation Club, and Royal Resorts Caribbean, Sunset World/RCI Web and AutomaticMe.com, which won for a social networking Web site developed by Brand Tango.

Winning in the Miami competition was a project for Gold Fastkit Corp., which Kluetz designed in association with Brand Tango’s partner agency Pinpoint Communication of Deerfield, Fla., where he also serves as vice president and creative director.

“We’re grateful to our clients for entrusting us with their brand and image,” Kluetz says. “In these challenging times, we know that what matters is return on investment, and these projects delivered.”

In addition to Brand Tango’s Best in Show for Print, Kluetz’s creative direction for Brand Tango partner Pinpoint took home Best in Show overall for the Magaritaville Tailgating Dealer Promotion for Jarden Consumer Solutions.
