Mystery Writer Rebecca Benston will Hold a Book Signing in Hometown of Springfield, OH

Local author to hold book signing.

Springfield, OH, November 10, 2006 --(PR.com)-- Mystery writer Rebecca Benston will be appearing at the Waldenbooks in the Upper Valley Mall in Springfield, OH on Saturday, December 9, 2006 between 1:00 and 3:00 p.m. to promote her latest book, In the Wash: The Rona Shively Stories. A native of Springfield, Benston is a freelance writer and poet. She is also a member of the Sisters in Crime Internet Chapter and a Content Producer for Associated Content.com.

This book is the first in a series and has been described by reviewers as masterfully written suspense. It is the story of a mouthy private detective who finds herself investigating a cover-up that puts her and those around her in danger. The second book in the series is planned for release in early 2007. Benston’s publisher, PublishAmerica (PA) is the home of 20,000 talented authors. Like more mainstream publishers, PA pays its authors advances and royalties, makes its books available in both the United States and Europe through all bookstores, and never charges any fees for its services. PA is a traditional publishing company whose primary goal is to encourage and promote the works of new, previously undiscovered writers. PA offers a distinctly personal, supportive alternative to vanity presses and less accessible publishers.
