Fort Myers Jeweler Mark Loren Shares Marketing Expertise at Smart Jewelry Show
Fort Myers, FL, April 02, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Fort Myers jewelry designer and business owner Mark Loren will be a featured speaker at The 2010 Smart Jewelry Show being held at Chicago’s Navy Pier in April. Organized by jewelry trade magazine INSTORE, the show offers jewelers from around North America the opportunity to browse designs and learn best practices from their peers and retailing experts. Loren’s session is entitled, “How Community Involvement Makes Friends for Life.”
“I was honored to be asked to speak at the event,” Loren says. “My session will focus on community involvement and how it can benefit businesses like ours. Anyone who knows me or Mark Loren Designs also knows that giving back and supporting the Southwest Florida community is important to us. Over the years, it’s also helped us build our business.”
Loren’s charitable involvement makes him a regular name on the charity auction circuit and his “giveaway promotions” for Mother’s Day 2009, the holidays and his shop’s 25th anniversary have caused quite a buzz in Southwest Florida and elsewhere. His efforts also earned him the title of Philanthropist of the Year from Gulfshore Business magazine in 2009. And, he’s continuously finding new ways to support the community through his work, such as donating a portion of the profit from each of his exclusive Firelight® diamond sales to The Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida.
Loren’s no stranger to industry accolades, either. In 2003, INSTORE Magazine named his studio a Cool Store winner. He’s happy to help his peers follow in his footsteps.
