Carolina Mudcats Host T-Shirt Giveaway, Youth Baseball Clinic, 2 For 1 Box Seats During May 15-19 Homestand Against Jacksonville Suns

Zebulon, NC, May 14, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The Carolina Mudcats (www.carolinamudcats.com), Wake County’s hometown professional baseball team, is hosting its homestand against the Jacksonville Suns May 15-19 with several special promotions at Five County Stadium. The morning before the opener on Saturday, May 15, a 2010 Chevy Youth Baseball Instructional Clinic with limited spaces will be held from 9 a.m. to noon. To participate, children must register at www.chevyyouthsports.com/rsvp and enter the password “playball.” When the game starts later that day at 6:15 p.m., it will include a T-shirt giveaway to the first 1,200 children ages 14 and under who attend, presented by Hubert Vester Superstore. On Sunday, May 16, Comet Rice presents “Kids Run the Bases” at the stadium after the game ends, weather permitting. The series ends on Wednesday, May 19, with BJ’s Membership Club 2 for 1 box seats, where fans who buy one box seat can get one free.
