JAX TENNIS Magazine Serving Northeast Florida to Launch in 2007

Jacksonville, FL, November 30, 2006 --(PR.com)-- Northeast Florida, including Ponte Vedra Beach and St. Augustine to the south, Amelia Island to the north and encompassing Greater Jacksonville, will see its tennis-hungry population served by JAX TENNIS Magazine when the publication debuts in 2007.

For the second time in fours years, Jacksonville topped Expansion Management Magazine's list of "America's Hottest Cities." Ponte Vedra Beach boasts the Ponte Vedra Inn & Club, named the top tennis resort in the U.S. for 2006 by TENNIS Magazine, and features the ATP Tour men's professional tennis U.S. Headquarters. Ponte Vedra Beach has the second-highest per capita income in the state, and was named "the best place to live in Florida" by Money Magazine.

The popular Amelia Island Plantation tennis club is home to the annual WTA Tour Bausch & Lomb Championships professional tennis stop.

The publisher/editor for JAX TENNIS Magazine is Richard Vach, former publications editor for the ATP Tour, and a contributing writer for Tennis Week and The Tennis Channel and TENNIS Magazine websites. In 2005 he was awarded the top prize in the "Best Hard News" category by the U.S. Tennis Writers Association.
