)-- To the UFO community Budd Hopkins needs no introduction. Mr. Hopkins is a world-renowned artist, author, and pioneer UFO abduction researcher. Having investigated well over 700 cases, he now heads the Intruders Foundation, a nonprofit, scientific research and support organization. Hopkins has spent more than 30 years investigating UFO reports and is considered an expert on UFO abductions.
During the one hour radio program, which is now available on podcast (free) http://feeds.feedburner.com/TheKateValentineUfoShow , Kate Valentine and Budd Hopkins reviewed some of his most notable sightings and abduction investigations that Mr. Hopkins has witnessed, conducted and documented over his 30 year career.
When asked by Kate Valentine to describe abductions to her ufologist 101 audience, Hopkins reeled off what seemed to be a standard procedure. Most interestingly Mr. Hopkins states that abductees are targeted and repeatedly abducted as if they are being studied. Two key elements of the abductees examination are the central nervous system and the reproductive system.
A question posed by a listener on the comments page of the website http://www.atlanticcoastufos.com/comments.html , “With all Mr. Hopkins research what does he believe some of the reasons are behind abductions?” by Debbie. Mr. Hopkins responded with a synopsis of the Kathy Davis story. After collecting information on many female abduction cases, and with the replication of disappearing pregnancies he deduced: “they are making some kind of mix of humans and aliens through what we would call gene-splicing. Part human, part alien beings”, stated Hopkins. The Kathy Davis story, written about her abductions and her subsequent encounter with what she perceived to be her hybrid child, was the subject of his book “Intruders”, which was a NY Times best seller and the subject of a CBS mini series.
Mr. Hopkins expressed his disappointment at the unscientific approach that is generally taken with respect to the UFO phenomena. “Science should be interested in solving the problems and mysteries of the world…whatever they are”. Hopkins believes, “An extraordinary phenomena demands extraordinary investigation” and states “This is an absolute rejection of one of the greatest mysteries we have.”
Controversy has always been a persistent feature of his career in abduction and UFO studies as he continues to lead the investigation into the systematic abduction of human beings by UFO occupants.
