Jay Lonewolf at GAB Studio, June 12, 2010, Wynwood Art Walk, Miami, FL

Miami, FL, June 09, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Lonewolf brings a new collection of art on June 12, 2010 at GAB Studio. "Lord of the Flies" will be featured including several in his self-portrait collection, "Summit of Reality", "Solomon’s Mind" and "Indigenous Seduction."

"Lord of the Flies" – Lonewolf’s namesake work of the William Golding classic published in 1954 is a bold social commentary. Just as the book became a metaphor for the power struggle in a chaotic, strife-ridden world, his work questions the state of man and humanity. In a quote found in his work, Lonewolf queries the observer “I do not fear man. It is self I fear. Being resides in self and all its evil at the end awaits redemption.”

A gifted artist, Lonewolf suffers from rod monochromacy. He does not see color. Movement is his color and darkness is his light. His vision is limited to variations of black and white, gradients or contrasts of gray similar to the old black and white TV sets from years ago. Jay Lonewolf has been featured in the Miami Herald, WTVJ-NBC 6 Miami, Telemundo, Univision, Miami Artzine and lifeinthefastlane.ca

The GAB Studio event on Saturday, June 12 will include a dozen more artists including Greg Pitts. The event will also feature acoustic and percussive performances by The Coffee House Gypsies. The performances will benefit Camillus House. Donations and proceeds will be donated to Camillus House, a Miami non-profit organization that provides humanitarian services to men, women and children who are poor and homeless.
