Cordic Launches Taxi Booking iPhone App

Cordic has unveiled their new iPhone App which allows passengers to book a taxi using their iPhone.

Cambridge, United Kingdom, June 11, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Cordic has unveiled their new iPhone App which allows passengers to book a taxi using their iPhone. Fully integrated into Cordic’s Booking & Despatch System, all jobs booked using the iPhone Booker go straight into the system and can be dispatched automatically. This saves valuable time and leaves operators free to take bookings over the phone.

Passengers can book a taxi with just a few taps on their iPhone and track the progress of their car in real-time on a map. The system also sends an automatic text message to the passenger once the booking is confirmed and when the car arrives to pick them up.

“There is an increasing interest within the taxi and private hire industry to offer more choice to customers,” stated Fara Arani, Commercial Director of Cordic. “Cordic’s iPhone Booker offers a further booking option in addition to Cordic’s existing 5 booking methods – Web, Interactive Voice Response (IVR), Text, Kiosk and Mobile Booker.”

cPAQ is a taxi despatch system designed specifically for the taxi and private hire industry. cPAQ is a highly intelligent and feature rich system that is customised to meet each customers’ needs and supported by Cordic’s unrivalled customer service and 24/7 technical support.
