The Book, “I Won’t Apologize for Being a Woman,” is Finally Here

South Bend, IN, December 12, 2006 --(PR.com)-- Local student, poet, actress, and now author, Zorina Exie Jerome has published her first book, “I Won’t Apologize for Being a Woman,” through Xlibris Publishing.

“I Won’t Apologize for Being a Woman” is a compilation of poetically controversial testimonies from a feminine standpoint using urban Christian ideology. In addition to questioning social order in modern day church, Jerome boldly confronts issues that most women struggle with as a Christian, which according to Jerome, “are grossly overlooked.” From subjects on dating, to male/female relationships, “I Won’t Apologize for Being a Woman” unveils shocking scenarios that end with a profound resolution on how to cope with it. Men will have a better understanding of a woman’s viewpoint. Woman will be enlightened to re-evaluate their worth. This book is designed to be a voice of clout for anyone who can identify with being misunderstood, rejected, hated or oppressed. It speaks to men and women of all nationalities.

Indiana University South Bend’s (IUSB) communication instructor, Thomas Joachim comments on the book. He says, “Superb work and I really enjoyed it. I was quite impressed.” Howard Dukes of The South Bend Tribune wrote, “It’s a style that places a premium on honesty - or keeping it real, as the kids would say.” The book is currently available through the Barnes and Noble, Borders, and Amazon website. The retail price is $10.00.
