Concerts on Governor’s Island Get Flashy

It’s not just about music anymore, it’s about the visuals: LED Media will be situating a lights installation production to correlate with DJ Boris’ beats at the Believe In Boris show.

New York, NY, September 19, 2010 --(PR.com)-- LED Media was approached by Advanced Technologies to install high definition LED towers at the Believe in Boris Concert, a Pacha NYC and Dance.Here.Now Production headlining DJ Boris, a celebrated artist with a beat-pumping style. The show will be held on Sunday, September 19, 2010 on Governors Island, a venue popular to NYC concert-goers.

This is not the first for LED Media, who recently launched a design division dubbed DLED – Digital Live Experience Design. The DLED team has done a series of light productions over the past few months including the Black and White Festival held on Governor’s Island last month.

LED took center stage at the Black and White festival, held on July 31 and August 1, which showcased 50 of the most talented DJ’s. Devoted fans sporting sunglasses raised their plastic cups to the sounds of hard hitting tones and kaleidoscope images, a clubber fantasy.

“The visuals were literally matching the beats!” said Garry Darvin, Chief Technology Officer of LED Media, “I felt like I was at the hottest club in Ibiza.”

This weekend is sure to be another success for LED Media. The company was established in 2007 as a full service digital signage provider. Recently, LED introduced DLED which has been paving the way for digital design. They have reinvented the standard of digital production by inserting creative design logistics, which has set the bar for future projects. What comes next will be sure to blind-side the industry.
