San Diego, CA, January 08, 2007 --(PR.com
)-- Richard Villasana, of Chula Vista and President of Marketing To Mexico, will be honored at the City of San Diego Public Library's 41st Annual Local Authors Exhibit. An international communication coach and speaker, Richard was seriously injured in an auto accident in early 2006 after he pulled over to help two women stranded along I-805 near Mission Valley in San Diego. "One minute I'm in front of the women's vehicle and the next I'm on the ground with their Pathfinder on top of my right leg. A lot of doctors have said I’m lucky to be alive, much less walking around."
During his recovery, he decided to write about his passion, business and cultural communication with Mexican professionals. The result was his new book, "Insiders Guide to Doing Business in Mexico," which was presented to the exhibit committee. The reception will be on Saturday, January, 27, 2007. Richard says, "It's definitely a case of taking lemons and making lemonade."
"I am honored to have my book accepted by the San Diego Public Library. The library provides so many excellent services particularly to the Hispanic and business community of San Diego." Richard can be reached at (619) 379-7862 for presentations, workshops and cross-cultural training.
