North Carolina College Sweethearts Compete in Nationwide Engagement Ring Competition

Appalachian State seniors compete for $10K engagement ring in final round of nationwide competition.

Boone, NC, November 11, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Appalachian State University seniors Addison Miller and Nikki Roberti have found themselves in the final round of a nationwide engagement ring competition. But this isn’t just any engagement ring. It’s $10,000 worth of one, and they are currently in second place.

Now they are battling it out for votes on SimonGJewelry.com, competing against the last two couples standing.

College sweethearts Miller and Roberti believe it is fate. After both caught the bouquet and garter and Roberti’s cousin’s wedding in August, they thought that this competition would be the answer to their money woes as Miller continues to save pennies for their engagement ring. When another couple in the first round passed them by 1,500 votes, they gave up on campaigning altogether. But somehow, they still made it to the top three and are currently in second place.

Voters can go to www.simongjewelry.com/sweepstakes/183 to help support the North Carolinian couple. To find out more about them, check out Roberti’s blog about their relationship and the competition at www.addisonandnikki.wordpress.com.
