Poets Labyrinth Music Artist, Tiffany Apan Releases First Holiday Single

Award winning Poets Labyrinth Productions singer/songwriter Tiffany Apan releases her first Holiday/Winter Season single with Rockabilly Hall of Famer, Chuck Owston.

Gibsonia, PA, December 25, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Poets Labyrinth artist, Tiffany Apan is an award winning singer/songwriter from Pennsylvania in the United States. Her music is an eclectic blend of rock (progressive/alternative/metal), classical, folk, world, new age, gothic, ambient and touches of pop, soul, jazz and r&b.; Her 2008 debut album, Poet combines all these styles of music and has received enthusiastic responses from music fans and even garnered some critical acclaim. She has been featured on up to 8 compilation CDs to date ranging from progressive rock to goth to dance/club compilations; in 2009 she was an American Finalist in The Best New Song in the World Contest with her acapella song, “Lost Little Girl” which was released as a digital single on June 1, 2010. In 2010, Tiffany’s song “Ghost” was selected as the official song for the PASTIntel Paranormal Research Team. Her music video for “Scarborough Fair” off of “Poet” was a winner in the “Other” Music Video Category at the 2010 Indie Gathering in Cleveland, OH in the United States. Songs from Poet (“Warrior” and “Whispers”) were also selected to appear on the soundtrack to the indie film, “The Girl” (in which Tiffany also plays the role of Kara) on which Samantha Newark (the singer/actress who voice the character Jem in the 80s cartoon, “Jem and the Holograms”) also appears musically.

“Poet” is available at all major digital outlets (iTunes, Napster, etc) as well as at CDBaby, Amazon, and Shinto Records.

She is currently working on her follow up to Poet titled Elements. Tracks on Elements will include “Heart Song,” “City of Gold (Children of the Sun),” “Siuil A Run,” “Poseidon,” and “Walking Distance.” She will also have music appearing in the forthcoming independent film "Foreseen" with Key Productions.

For the first time, Tiffany is releasing her first Holiday/Winter Season Single. Tiffany recently began filming what she refers to as "Living Room Sessions" on her YouTube Channel. In her most recent session, she teamed with Rockabilly Hall of Famer, Chuck Owston for a performance of the popular English Folk song, "Greensleeves" which is a song that was written in the 1500s by King Henry VIII. In addition to being able to view the performance via Tiffany's YouTube Channel, Tiffany and Chuck also recorded and produced an audio recording of the song which will be released as a special Holiday/Winter Season single on December 1, 2010. Tiffany and Chuck are also releasing the "Greensleeves" single free of charge as a special Holiday/Winter Season gift to fans. "Greensleeves" will be downloadable via Reverbnation, Last.fm, Mp3, and a few other music websites. Physical copies of the single will be available for a limited time upon request and readily available to those who recieve the snail mail version of Tiffany's monthly "Messages from the Labyrinth" Newsletter. There is a plan to release two versions of the recording; one studio recording and a live recording of the song.
