BeezNest Announces 200,000 Users Registered on Learning Management System Chamilo
Open source solutions provider BeezNest, who is responsible for coordinating the development of the open source learning management system (LMS) Chamilo version 1.8, just announced passing the 200,000 registered users mark, including 30,000 users on the free campus website http://campus.chamilo.org.
Brussels, Belgium, December 02, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Open source solutions provider BeezNest, who is responsible for coordinating the development of the open source learning management system (LMS) Chamilo version 1.8, just announced passing the 200,000 registered users mark, including 30,000 users on the free campus website http://campus.chamilo.org.
Launched in January 2010, Chamilo has experienced exponential growth since then. As a result of this success, Chamilo is in the process of being deployed as a stand alone LMS solution in many universities and private schools worldwide.
Chamilo is especially popular in South America thanks to BeezNest's local branch in Peru. Current users from Chamilo include University of Tocantins (Brazil), University of Technology (Peru), and Academy of Aix-Marseille (France) with over 200 schools.
Currently in version 1.8, Chamilo is also available as a release candidate in version 2.0., with final release planned for 2011.
