The Deli Diva Sandwich Shop to be Featured for the First Edition of AOL's New Largo.patch.com

AOL selects Largo's downtown sandwich shop, The Deli Diva to be featured in their inaugural edition of Largo.Patch.com

Largo, FL, December 13, 2010 --(PR.com)-- “Surprised and delighted” are how Anne Buck and Rob Buck, the owners of The Deli Diva, were when they found out that they were the restaurant chosen to be featured for the new Largo.Patch.com pages owned by AOL.

AOL introduced the national Patch pages in June of 2009 and has continued to expand its reach ever since. Patch.com is a hyper-local page for news, reviews, entertainment and happenings in the area. The Largo.Patch.com page goes live December 15th.

Rob and Anne Buck were busy making sandwiches for their lunch customers when the editor of Patch.com walked in with her photographer. “She caught us completely by surprise,” said Anne Buck. “When the editor explained they were from AOL and that they wanted to feature us for the inaugural edition of the local Largo.Patch.com, we were floored!”

The Deli Diva has been open in downtown Largo for a little over a year, featuring New York deli style sandwiches. They cook all their meats from scratch, and prepare homemade soups, salads and desserts daily. They’re quickly becoming known for the best pastrami in town, which they smoke and steam themselves and hand cut to order. “We’ve got a great group of customers who come just for our pastrami. We’ve knick-named them our ‘Pastrami Army.’”

Open Monday through Friday 11am to 3pm at 707 1st Ave SW in downtown Largo, The Deli Diva is a hidden gem. Now, with AOL’s discovery of them, how long they remain hidden remains to be seen.
