EV- Charge America (EVCA) Installing Level II Charging Stations on the Las Vegas Strip

Las Vegas, NV, January 26, 2011 --(PR.com)-- EV-Charge America announces the installation of EVCA’s newest Level II charging stations at the Las Vegas Flamingo Hotel and Casino. CEO, Bob Rosinski adds, “The Flamingo install is the first EV Charging Station contracted with Harrah’s Entertainment.”

Rosinski adds “These new installs come on the heels of the recent release of the very first Nissan Leafs and Chevy Volts, these fully electric vehicles are the first to be produced in any great quantity in the United States; and it is expected that 30+ other automotive manufacturers will release their own versions of fully electric vehicles by years-end.”

“The timing for these EV charging station installations is excellent, as Las Vegas anticipates strong demand for Southern California EV driving visitors in the near future. These drivers will not only require EV Charge stations at destinations such as the Flamingo, but also at their residences, work, shopping, and all frequented venues. EV owners will soon have the freedom and mobility that traditional gas fueled vehicle owners enjoy. Businesses are beginning to see an immediate and significant advantage to providing this service as a new and innovative marketing tool that demonstrates that they are an environmentally conscious, corporate citizen.”

The Flamingo, a key member of the Las Vegas business community, has made significant commitments to the greening of corporate America, and has incorporated environmental sustainability programs into its property.

In closing Rosinski would like to say “Though the Flamingo quite possibly has just about everything visitors to the city could want on property, they will now have the added convenience of EV charging capability.”
