Pantin, France, March 08, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Marilyn Monroe lives on in the public’s imagination, a Hollywood starlet who committed suicide. But what if history could be changed? That’s the provocative idea behind this novel. Marilyn, who is in love with President John Kennedy, dreams of tracking Cuban revolutionary leader Che Guevara in his Amazon hideout and bring him with her to meet Kennedy. Her goal is to help Kennedy make up for the political disaster known as the Bay of Pigs. She wants him to win re-election, divorce Jackie and marry her, turning the beautiful actress into the first lady.

Marilyn and El Che in the Mirror of Love and Death, published by Dog Ear Publishing, delves into Marilyn’s world, including interventions by former husbands Joe DiMaggio and Arthur Miller. Her last shrink, Ralph Greenson, also makes an appearance. Marilyn wants nothing more than to be with Kennedy, her lover and the world’s most powerful leader. She flies to Guatemala with her chauffeur to meet El Che on his own turf and has a long conversation with him. But not all is as it appears, and she faces disappointment yet again. Torn between two men, will Marilyn triumph or be doomed to repeat history?
