"You Choose to Lose" Spring Weight Loss Challenge Kicks Off on May 1, 2011

Total Fitness Clubs Spring Weight Loss Challenge runs from May 1, 2011 – April 3, 2011. Multiple teams from all four Rhode Island and Massachusetts TFC locations participate against each other and the general public is invited to join.

Swansea, MA, April 21, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Total Fitness Clubs (TFC) today announced today their club-wide program, “You Choose to Lose” Spring Weight Loss Challenge (WLC), begins on May 1, 2011.

The WLC is an 8-week team oriented weight loss program that runs from May 1, 2011 – April 3, 2011. Multiple teams from all four Rhode Island and Massachusetts TFC locations participate against each other and the general public is invited to join. WLC Team Coaches are focused on helping participants establish a routine of regular gym attendance, a balanced diet with a wide range of exercise activities and to arm the challenge members with the knowledge and motivation to attack their weight loss goals.

Success highlights from the 46 participants who competed on five teams in the 2010 Winter WLC include a combined weight loss of 1167.4 pounds and the average weight loss for individuals was 25.4 pounds or 12.63%.
