Farrell’s Gives a Sweet Thank You to Those in the Armed Forces

Mission Viejo, CA, May 04, 2011 --(PR.com)-- May is National Military Appreciation Month and every year Farrell’s takes this opportunity to say “Thank You” to those who bravely serve in the armed forces by treating these men and women to a free all-American, Red White and Blue Thank You Sundae. This Patriotic treat is made with vanilla ice cream, strawberries and blueberries. Through the entire month of May any Military personnel, past or present, that shows their valid Military I.D. will receive a free Red White and Blue Thank You Sundae at the Farrell’s in Mission Viejo or Santa Clarita. Guests may also purchase the Sundae for $6.99.

In addition to the free sundae, Farrell’s has teamed up with “A Million Thanks,” (AMillionThanks.org) a non-profit organization that collect thank you cards to send to military personnel. Responsible for over 5 million thank you letters being sent to our troops, A Million Thanks is inviting everyone who comes into either of the Farrell’s locations to write their own “Thank you” card that they will send.

National Military Appreciation Month, H. Con. Res. 328, was passed in April of 2004 by unanimous consent of both Houses of Congress. This important and timely legislation tells our service members that their country has set aside an entire month to honor remember and appreciate them.
