The Dean & Frisch Foundation presents a unique "living" design house at The Juniper Hill Inn and a one-of-its-kind Show Town in Windsor, VT.

Windsor, VT, May 12, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The New England Living Show House is a unique design house that uses the historic Juniper Hill Inn in Windsor, VT, as its canvas. Guided by quality design and historic preservation precepts, a team of expert interior designers and landscape architects are bringing a fresh face to 20th Century grand dame. Gala Opening

The Show House will open with a Black Tie Gala Opening on Friday, May 27, 2011 at The Juniper Hill Inn. Honorary co-chairs for the evening include Cloris Leachman, the Emmy-winning actress and comedian, Her Excellency Mwanaidi Sinare Maajer Ambassador from the United Republic of Tanzania, & Mr. Maajer, and His Excellency Ombeni Y Sefue, Ambassador to the United Nations from the United Republic of Tanzania & Mrs. Sefue.

Tickets for the Gala Opening are $250 per person and can be purchased online at http://www.newenglandlivingshowhouse.com/tickets/gala/.

The Gala will feature:
Tours of the Designer Show House throughout the evening.
Cocktails and hors-d'oeuvres, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
International Dinner, 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.
Dancing under the stars.
Casino and gaming tables.
Silent Auction, closes at 9:30 p.m.
Live Auction, to follow the Silent Auction at 9:30 p.m.

A collection of products and services, including exquisite artwork, luxury goods, exotic trip packages, furniture, design services, golf fees, restaurant gift certificates, musical performances and more, will be auctioned off during the Silent and Live Auctions to raise money for the seven beneficiaries of the New England Living Show House.

The Show House
The Show House opens to the public on May 28th until June 6th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily, and from June 19th through Labor Day, September 5, 2011 on Sundays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Mondays and Tuesdays from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. Please Note: There is no parking or admittance to the Show House directly at the Inn. All guests must take a shuttle from the Show Town welcome center at 64 Main Street, Windsor, VT to the inn for admittance.

Advanced tickets for the Show House are $25, and can be purchased at http://www.newenglandlivingshowhouse.com/tickets/, or by calling the inn at 800-359-2541. Show House tickets not purchased in advance are $30, and can be purchased at the Show Town headquarters at 64 Main Street, Windsor, VT. All tickets include a complimentary Show House magazine and resource guide.

The Show Town
The Show Town headquarters at 64 Main Street, Windsor, VT will serve as the gift shop and welcome center for the Show House held at the Juniper Hill Inn. All non-advance tickets can be purchased here. A shuttle will transport people to and from the Juniper Hill Inn.

The Show Town, located throughout Main Street in Windsor, VT, will showcase the work of the designers and sponsors, and will offer for sale local products and artisan foods, antiques and artwork for from regional artists, artisan furniture, and more. The Show Town is open May 28, 2011 through September 5, 2011 from 10am to 5pm Friday through Tuesday.
