Proceeds benefited triathlon clubs and charity organizations in the Freehold, N.J. area, including “Stomp the Monster” for cancer research and the “I Will Foundation,” which supports athletes recovering from traumatic illness or injury. During the event, athletes from throughout the Monroe Township area were evaluated by coaches, therapists, and trainers in addition to receiving individual instruction and analysis of swim stokes, gait, running form and foot strike, shoe evaluations, and bike fitting. The interactive educational program included such topics as coaching methodology and training techniques, all designed to enhance performance and injury prevention.
