Bianchi is the writer and producer, and Tasso is the producer of “Dysfunktion.” They both also star in the film. “Dysfunktion” is the story of one day in the life of nine odd Hollywood types that all live in the same run-down, oversized mansion - each with their own character defects driven to pursue their dreams. “Dysfunktion” is what happens when personality defects collide, everything goes wrong, and life-changing decisions are made. “Dysfunktion” is a dark comedy revealing the best and the worst of the Hollywood type and the Hollywood human condition. In the last six years, David Bianchi has produced seven award winning short films, two feature films, a feature length documentary (which he also wrote/directed) and two commercials, with various projects in different stages of development. He is the founder of Exertion Films, and wrote, produced and starred in the critically acclaimed short film David Bianchi’s “Soldier.” Soldier became an official selection of 34 domestic festivals, including Palm Springs, Los Angeles and San Diego. It won Best Short at Queens, Rochester, San Tan Shorts, and was voted by Film Threat Magazine the #2 Best Unseen Film of 2006. He co-produced and co-starred in the critically acclaimed feature film “Farewell Darkness,” which won Best Feature Film at the Delray Beach Intl. Film Festival (2008) and Best First Feature, Best Feature Film at the Drake International Film Festival (Caserta, Italy, 2008). His original feature length screenplay “Car” is in production development and was nominated for the Golden Palm Award at the Beverly Hills International Film Festival. “Dysfunktion” is his fourth feature length screenplay.

A Greek-American filmmaker from Detroit, Michigan, Val Tasso holds an engineering degree at Wayne State University, and relocated to Los Angeles, California in 2000 to pursue acting and filmmaking. He developed his own production company, Spartan Pictures, and co-produced and directed several award winning short films, including "Devil's Land" starring Academy Award nominated actress Sally Kirkland and Emmy Award winner Marla Gibbs and Louis Mandylor, "Flash Click" and "Death by Boxer," which was co-written by and stars Tasso. His documentary "The Nukes" received the Audience Award at the 2010 Valley Village Film Festival. Tasso associate-produced the feature film comedy "Walk a Mile in My Pradas," which stars Tom Arnold, Bruce Vilanch, Dee Wallace and Mike Starr, and the crime/comedy "Silver Case," which stars Oscar-nominated actors Eric Roberts and Seymour Cassel. Along with co-partner Jonathan Kutner, Tasso received the 2010 Accolade Award of Merit for "Devil's Land," the first place award at the 2010 Fuel the Fear Celebration of Horror and the win for best feature at the 2011 Idyllwild Film Festival. Ryan LeMasters is the director of Dysfunktion and the founder of Gros Ventre Pictures. LeMasters holds a Bachelor of Arts in Media Studies, with an emphasis in multi-production from the University of Sioux Falls. In 2006, he co-produced and was the post-production supervisor of the feature documentary “Outspoken,” which he also edited. “Outspoken” played at multiple domestic film festivals.
