BookieJar Debuts “Autograph Now!” to Enable in-Person eBook Signing on Their Publishing and Marketing Platform

BookieJar announces their patent pending “Autograph Now!” technology for writers to promote their eBooks and connect to readers.

Seattle, WA, September 17, 2011 --(PR.com)-- BookieJar Inc. today announced the launch of "Autograph Now!", building upon the eBook publishing, marketing, and social networking capabilities of BookieJar.com with new capabilities for writers to promote their eBooks and personalize copies for their readers.

“Autograph Now!” allows a reader to request and obtain digital autograph from the author remotely or in-person. The writer can create the digital signature on the reader's device including iPad, Nook color, PC, tablet, smartphone, or on the writer’s own device. The writer is able to create the signature via a stylus, finger, mouse or any appropriate input method through the user interface embedded in the copy of the digital content, a web-based application, or a native application.

The writer is also able to prepare a generic digital autograph for future readers or all existing ones.

BookieJar.com’s powerful social networking functionality has allowed readers to socialize with writers and other readers, get updates about new books, and find special offers provided directly by writers.

Writers are able to self-publish their books with minimal effort on BookieJar.com and now have a range of promotional tools available to them including coupon creating, widgets to create exposure of their published works, and the new “Autograph Now!” to personalize their eBooks for their readers.

Deyun Wu, BookieJar’s CEO said today, "Since the beginning, BookieJar.com has focused on connecting readers and writers together. 'Autograph Now!' furthers those connection options by improving writers’ ability to create visibility for their new works as well as create more personalized connection." Wu invites writers to take advantage of this new product and use it in their book signing event. Wu said “A reader is now able to have his/her copy of an eBook personally signed by the writer at a book signing event. This has never been possible before and is another step towards increasing the connectedness of readers and writers in the new eBook world.”
