Syncdocs Turns Google Into Your G Drive

Syncdocs is a new service that brings Google Docs to the desktop with Dropbox-like file synchronization. Users also get the full power of Google’s cloud office suite from their PC desktop.

Sydney, Australia, September 22, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Google recently announced that Google Documents can store any type of file up to 10GB in size. Syncdocs takes full advantage of this fast Google storage - it keeps PC folders synchronized with Google Docs accounts and with each other.

“Our customers find Syncdocs makes the transition to cloud easier,” says Andrew Fields, CEO of Syncdocs, “You can keep all documents in sync, and access them from your PC or on-the-go from your mobile device. Your files just stay up-to-date automatically.”

Google documents are available right from the user’s Windows desktop and local files can be backed up online.

Recent outages of both Google and Microsoft’s online office suites emphasized the importance of keeping local backups. The combination of Google Chrome, Documents and Syncdocs lets users try Chromebook-type functionality from the safety of Windows.
