Veriforce Offers New Contractor Safety Management Services

Shenandoah, TX, October 16, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Veriforce Offers New Contractor Safety Management Services. New Contractor Safety Management Services offer Operators an Easy and Intelligent Connection to Compile, Evaluate, and View Contractor Information.

Veriforce, a leader in providing regulatory compliance and contractor management solutions for pipeline operators, now helps operators choose safe contractors more efficiently.

"Veriforce is helping operators easily choose the right contractors; ones that meet their established safety requirements," said President of Veriforce, Louie Werderich. "It can be a challenge for operators to easily identify the right contractor for construction and maintenance projects, so we’ve built a safety program that allows operators to manage what is important to their business. Operators can choose between our new standard safety services or our enhanced safety management services.

"We understand that one size does not always fit all, so the new standard safety services allow operators to group contractors and create specific requirements for each contractor group. For example, small contractors that have minimal safety requirements could be grouped together with minimum requirements, while larger or high risk contractors could have additional requirements. The new standard safety service includes an easy to view safety dashboard, a quick start guide, pre-built scoring models, plus the ability to compare and rank contractors by work type. In addition, the Veriforce audit team reviews contractor OSHA 300 Logs and EMR certificates.

"To push contractor safety to an even higher level, we released our new enhanced contractor safety management service; it includes all the features of our new standard safety services plus an intelligent connection between contractor safety manuals and work types. In addition, it has safety questionnaires that help operators evaluate contractor(s) safety culture. Operators can take advantage of a default questionnaire or use hundreds of safety questions to easily customize their own. Other features in the new enhanced services include; a review of contractor safety manuals vs. OSHA requirements by expert Veriforce audit teams, the ability to link OQ tasks to contractor safety manuals, and a default safety matrix that links contractor safety manuals to work types. Another evolutionary feature is direct access to the OSHA database from the safety dashboard, so operators have easy access to the latest OSHA inspection reports. Operators even have the ability to request contractor responses to OSHA inspection reports and then track those responses."
