The Eastco Group Undertakes eStore for Industry Leader. Hunting and Trapping Lure industry leader Kishel's Quality Scents retains The Eastco Group for eCommerce project with 250+ products.
Orchard Park, NY, October 16, 2011 --(PR.com)-- When one of the world’s most respected names in the Hunting and Trapping Lure industry – Kishel’s Quality Scents and Lures – sought out award winning media and marketing company The Eastco Group to re-design their website, they had some forward thinking and challenging requirements in mind. The site needed to be able to host their store which contained nearly 300 products, needed to look modern but be the right fit for their demographic, be up-to-date technologically, but most of all–increase Kishel’s brand and marketing value on the web.
Eastco worked with Kishel’s very closely to establish a custom design that was not only visually powerful, but would meet these functional needs in a manner that adheres to already established convention. The hope was that this would simplify the purchasing process for customers, something that the previous site lacked.
In addition, Eastco advised Kishel’s to have the site managed through the content management system WordPress, a staple framework for many designers, because of its ability to lower configuration and setup costs. In addition, the WordPress site allows Kishel’s to edit their own content if needed, and in this case, provided a simplified way to implement the challenging task of managing the hundreds of products using an add-on that was available.
With this, Eastco was able to design a custom shopping cart solution that incorporated an easy to understand structure, social media, and video into the shopping process that takes the customer seamlessly through a transaction and looks great while doing so. How did the customer feel about it?
